Just saw this one... a lovely little Israeli film with a great Israeli-Palestinian cast. Sort of a wistful, bittersweet, slightly sentimental comedy, with excellent slow pacing and several great, almost wordless performances. Plot revolves around an Egyptian police orchestra that gets stranded in the wrong town in Israel, a profoundly drab backwater of a place with predictably quirky inhabitants.
I haven't seen that many Israeli films, but the style and tone reminded me of some of my favorite French and Scandinavian films, although perhaps just a little warmer--none of the traces of nihilism or misanthropy you sometimes find in French or Finnish cinema.
Recommended.
